The report examined the capabilities of twelve vendors to meet the needs of organizations in six distinct use cases: High-Security Unified Endpoint Management; High-Security Government Grade; High-Security Commercial; Shared Data; Shared Devices; Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). The criteria used by Gartner to evaluate companies in the Critical Capabilities for High-Security Mobility Management report include: Certifications and Awards; Secure Life Cycle Management; Hardened Platform; App Security; Data Security; Authentication and Access Protocols; Attack Prevention and Mitigation; Hardened VPN; Multiuser Device and Kiosk Mode; Geo/Time Tracking and Fencing; Forensics; and Scalability and Portability.
CommuniTake Technologies received the fifth highest score in three use cases: High-Security Government Grade; High-Security Commercial; and Shared Devices. CommuniTake is one of two vendors ranked that offers both a hardened mobile phone and a hardened mobile OS.
